Founded in 2021 by Eric Goodwin, our journey began with a simple yet transformative experience: the discovery of what professional cleaning services could achieve. Today, we proudly serve Riverside County, San Bernardino County, parts of Orange and Los Angeles Counties, various surrounding areas, offering a comprehensive range of services, including window cleaning, pressure washing, roof washing, gutter cleaning, and solar panel cleaning. Our mission is to deliver exceptional results while building lasting relationships with the communities and groups we serve.

We are also offering group discounts for solar panel cleaning. Neighbors that receive solar panel cleaning on the same day will receive discounts. Our Story

Eric Goodwin’s journey into the cleaning industry started in 2021 when he and his family moved back to their home in Riverside County. After working remotely as a software engineer, Eric had the opportunity to focus on home improvements, including hiring a window cleaning company. The results were nothing short of remarkable—Eric had never seen windows so pristine. Intrigued by the transformation, he befriended the owner of the window cleaning company, who shared insights into the business, the diverse range of services offered, and the rewarding nature of working with clients across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

While Eric was fascinated by the industry, it wasn’t until 2022 that a pivotal moment changed his career trajectory. During a quarterly planning meeting with his software engineering team, they began experimenting with OpenAI’s ChatGPT model. The team was astonished by the tool’s ability to generate code and solve complex problems, even in its early stages of development. Though they joked about AI replacing their jobs, the underlying seriousness of the conversation lingered. Eric realized that the rapid advancement of technology could disrupt traditional career paths, prompting him to explore alternative opportunities.

He reached out to the window cleaning company owner again, who shared a game-changing piece of advice: the untapped potential of solar panel cleaning. The owner explained that solar panels, which are increasingly installed in homes and businesses across California, require regular cleaning to maintain their efficiency. Dust, dirt, bird droppings, and environmental debris can reduce energy output by up to 30% if left unaddressed. However, the market for professional solar panel cleaning was still in its infancy, with only a fraction of solar panel owners aware of the need for routine maintenance. The owner highlighted that this emerging industry offered a unique opportunity to provide a valuable service while capitalizing on the growing adoption of renewable energy. With solar installations on the rise—driven by government incentives, environmental concerns, and the push for clean energy—the demand for solar panel cleaning was poised to explode.

Inspired by this insight, Eric began researching the solar panel cleaning market. He learned that the global solar panel cleaning market was valued at over $800 million in 2024 and projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.06% through 2033, reaching nearly $1.85 billion. The market’s growth is fueled by the increasing installation of solar panels, heightened awareness of energy efficiency, and the need for specialized cleaning techniques to protect delicate photovoltaic surfaces. Eric saw the potential not only to meet a growing demand but also to position himself as a leader in an industry with immense future potential.

In 2022, Eric took the leap, purchasing equipment and starting Squeaky Clean Washers as a part-time venture. He dove into every aspect of the business, from window cleaning and pressure washing to roof and gutter cleaning, gaining hands-on experience and building a reputation for quality and reliability. By 2024, as layoffs loomed at his software engineering job, Eric faced a critical decision: seek another tech role or fully commit to his business. He chose to invest in himself, taking the risk to go all-in on Squeaky Clean Washers. It was a decision he hasn’t regretted, as the business has grown steadily, serving clients across Riverside County and beyond.
